Q: Why do LED lights have an energy efficiency rating of F or G?

The energy efficiency rating scale was revised in 2021 to make it clearer and more future-proof. The new classes range from A to G and replace the old A+, A++, and A+++ ratings. LED lights rated F or G today were often rated A+++ in the past – their technology has not become less efficient. The scale simply became significantly stricter. At present, only highly specialized LED spotlights with cold, uninviting light achieve classes A to D. Comfortable LED lights with warm light, dimming capability, and high color rendering almost always fall into classes E, F, or G. This is not due to poor efficiency, but to deliberately chosen light quality. The difference in electricity costs is often only €3–4 per year – even with daily use.

LumiLift Height Adjustment

Thanks to the integrated LumiLift pulley system, you can easily adjust the height: Pull the light down when you want it to hang lower, or push it up for more space. Flexible for dining, working, or relaxing together—without any tools.

The included remote control combines elegant design with smart functionality: with the wall mount, it becomes a fixed switch in no time. Thanks to the click system, it can be removed effortlessly—for maximum flexibility when controlling brightness and color temperature.
