Why do LED lights have an energy efficiency class of E, F or G?

The energy efficiency rating scale was revised in 2023 to make it clearer and more future-proof. The new classes range from A to G and replace the old A+, A++, and A+++.

LED lights that are now rated F or G were often previously rated A+++ and are still extremely efficient. This change doesn't mean the products are inferior, but rather that the scale has become more stringent. Even LED lights rated F or G are among the best on the market and continue to offer significant energy savings. The new scale ensures that consumers can more easily compare and identify energy-efficient products.

Is the light fixture adjustable?

No, the Sava is not adjustable – the arm is fixed and the lamp directs the light downwards. However, it excels with its up-and-downlight effect: some of the light is reflected upwards onto the ceiling, creating a pleasant, indirect ambiance. This makes the Sava particularly attractive for hallways or living areas where you want both functional brightness and a cozy atmosphere – all without the need for a swivel mechanism.

How bright is the ceiling light really?

The Sava light provides 585 lumens at 8 watts – comparable to a classic 50-watt incandescent bulb, making it noticeably bright. One light is perfectly sufficient for small hallways up to approximately 6 m², while we recommend two for larger areas. If you're unsure whether the brightness is suitable for your space, just send us a quick message – we're happy to advise you before you buy.

Can I dim the Sava?

No, the Sava is not dimmable and is not compatible with an external dimmer switch. Therefore, the light intensity cannot be adjusted.

What are the dimensions of the Sava – and what kind of rooms is it suitable for?

The Sava lampshade has a diameter of 11 cm and a height of 10.5 cm. Its compact size makes it ideal for hallways, bedrooms, or as a subtle accent in living areas. For larger rooms or high ceilings, we recommend one of our larger ceiling lights. Tip: Quickly measure your room before ordering to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
