Q: Why do LED lights have an energy efficiency rating of F or G?

The energy efficiency rating scale was revised in 2021 to make it clearer and more future-proof. The new classes range from A to G and replace the old A+, A++, and A+++ ratings. LED lights rated F or G today were often rated A+++ in the past – their technology has not become less efficient. The scale simply became significantly stricter. At present, only highly specialized LED spotlights with cold, uninviting light achieve classes A to D. Comfortable LED lights with warm light, dimming capability, and high color rendering almost always fall into classes E, F, or G. This is not due to poor efficiency, but to deliberately chosen light quality. The difference in electricity costs is often only €3–4 per year – even with daily use.

The Solea combines clean lines with warm material tones: the slim cylinder in matte black transitions seamlessly into the tapered brown shade. The result is a silhouette that remains understated while giving your space a modern character—whether above the bedside table, kitchen island, or in the hallway.

With up to 2200K, the Solea produces a light color reminiscent of real candlelight—significantly warmer than conventional LED lights. You can continuously adjust the brightness from 1 to 100% and the color temperature all the way up to a clear daylight white at 6000K. This lets you create the right atmosphere for every moment, from focused work to a relaxing evening.

The ideal height for every room

Thanks to its stepless height adjustment with a drop length of up to 200 cm, the Solea adapts flexibly to your space. Whether you have a high ceiling in an older building or a low ceiling in a newer one, you can position the light at exactly the height that suits your interior—for perfectly placed lighting accents above the bed, table, or sideboard.

The included remote control combines elegant design with smart functionality: with the wall mount, it becomes a fixed switch in no time. Thanks to the click system, it can be removed effortlessly—for maximum flexibility when controlling brightness and color temperature.

Wie verstelle ich die Hängetiefe der Leuchte?

Um die Leuchte in der Höhe zu verstellen, kannst du die Leuchte einfach dank des neuen Lumilift-Systems nach unten ziehen oder nach oben schieben. Es ist kein Werkzeug nötig und die Leuchte kann jederzeit in der Höhe verstellt werden.

Muss ich die Leuchte unbedingt mit der App verbinden?

Du kannst die Leuchte auch nur mit der Fernbedienung steuern – wir empfehlen aber, sie mit der Tuya oder Smart Life App zu verbinden.So bleibt die Firmware deiner Leuchte aktuell, mögliche Fehlfunktionen werden vermieden und du kannst bei Bedarf sofort Updates durchführen.
