The energy efficiency rating scale was revised in 2021 to make it clearer and more future-proof. The new classes range from A to G and replace the old A+, A++, and A+++. LED luminaires that are now rated F or G often used to be A+++ – their technology hasn't deteriorated. The scale has simply become significantly stricter. Currently, only highly specialized LED spotlights with cold, uninviting light achieve classes A to D. Homely LED lights with warm light, dimmability, and high color rendering almost always land in the E, F, or G ratings. This isn't due to poor efficiency, but rather to deliberate lighting quality. The difference in electricity costs is often only €3–4 per year—even with daily use.

You can also control the light using only the remote control – however, we recommend connecting it to the Tuya or Smart Life app . This keeps your light's firmware up-to-date , avoids potential malfunctions , and allows you to perform updates immediately if needed .

How bright is the lamp?

The Darea designer floor lamp has a maximum brightness of 1200 lumens and is bright enough to illuminate a room in a cozy light.

How can I control the lamp?

All our floor lamps can be quickly and easily switched on and off using the foot switch. In addition:

Our V1 lights can be controlled via remote control or Bluetooth app. Our new V2 lights can be controlled with our new V2 remote control, via app, or Alexa/Google Home.

How long does it take to assemble the lamp?

We recommend that you allow approximately 20 minutes for assembly of our Darea floor lamp. The lamp consists of two parts: the base and the light element, which are screwed together.

Does the lamp also have a night light?

Yes! Darea has a night mode where the lamp glows very dimly, making it perfect as a night light.

Do I have to connect the light to the app?

Schön aber fragil

Ist eine besondere Lampe. Leider ist uns kurz nach dem Zusammenbau der Kopf abgebrochen. Der ist nicht drehbar (die beschriebenen 360 grad beziehen sich nur auf den Ring) und ist nur in einer dünnen Aluminium Hülse verbunden mit dem Stativ. Wir sind wirklich nicht grob damit umgegangen. Ersetzen wollte Lumiere uns den Artikel nicht (wir hätten eine neue zum halben Preis kaufen können) so haben wir jetzt ein Modell mit Kabelbindern…

Schicke Lampe, die sich gut in den Raum einfügt

Die verschiedenen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten der Helligkeit und Lichtfarbe sind super, aber auch das Design gefällt uns sehr gut. Die Lampe nimmt nicht viel Platz weg und fügt sich gut in den Raum ein.
