Q: Why do LED lights have an energy efficiency class of F or G?

The energy efficiency rating scale was revised in 2021 to make it clearer and more future-proof. The new classes range from A to G and replace the old A+, A++, and A+++. LED luminaires that are now rated F or G often used to be A+++ – their technology hasn't deteriorated. The scale has simply become significantly stricter. Currently, only highly specialized LED spotlights with cold, uninviting light achieve classes A to D. Homely LED lights with warm light, dimmability, and high color rendering almost always land in the E, F, or G ratings. This isn't due to poor efficiency, but rather to deliberate lighting quality. The difference in electricity costs is often only €3–4 per year—even with daily use.

Q: Do I have to connect the light to the app?

You can also control the light using only the remote control – however, we recommend connecting it to the Tuya or Smart Life app . This keeps your light's firmware up-to-date , avoids potential malfunctions , and allows you to perform updates immediately if needed .

How can the light be adjusted in height?

During installation, you can easily adjust the cable length by sliding the cable through the two ceiling panels – inwards to shorten, outwards to lengthen. You can also readjust the height after installation if needed.

Can uplights and downlights be controlled separately?

No, both light sources (top and bottom) are permanently coupled and are dimmed or switched simultaneously.

How warm can the light be adjusted?

The light is continuously adjustable from 6000 K (cool white) to 2200 K (extra warm white) – significantly warmer than the market standard of 3000 K.

How does the light control work?

You can operate the Cera pendant light using the included remote control, light switch or optionally via app (Tuya/Smartlife) and voice control (Alexa/Google Home).
