Why do LED lights have an energy efficiency rating of F or G?

The energy efficiency rating scale was revised in 2023 to make it clearer and more future-proof. The new classes range from A to G and replace the old A+, A++ and A+++ ratings.

LED lights now rated F or G were often rated A+++ in the past and are still extremely efficient. This change does not mean that the products are worse; it means that the scale has become stricter. Even LED lights rated F or G are among the best on the market and continue to offer significant energy savings. The new scale helps consumers compare and identify energy-efficient products more easily.

Are the lights Smart Home capable?

Yes, both lights in this bundle come in the V2 version and include an improved V2 remote control, warmer LEDs and the ability to integrate the lights into the Tuya / Smart Life app and control them via Alexa / Google Home.

Do I have to connect the light to the app?

No, you don’t have to. The light can also be controlled using only the remote control. However, we recommend connecting the light to the Tuya app anyway so you don’t miss any firmware updates for the driver.
